A photo took my breath away this morning. I follow @suzlipman on Instagram. Her almost daily photos have been capturing this profoundly challenging moment, offering a form of sustenance.
Here is the caption Suz posted with this photo from her walk in the Lower Haight of San Francisco:
“I’m an independent contractor,” said Kemit, when I asked if he was with any of the groups beautifying SF’s spaces during Covid. “I have to get here before the taggers. They just throw something up. They don’t take any time. If they come, I’ll paint again.”
I wrote her right away to see if she’d mind if I shared the photo. Thank you, Suz.
