I have been touched by the kindness, generosity, and creativity I see all around me. Yesterday I was live with @WendyMac on Instagram for her daily gift of a drawing class (10 am PT). She’s working on a theme this week, Animals in the Wild. Wendy Macnaughton is a NYT illustrator and graphic journalist based in San Francisco. I’m watching her draw a bear as I write this post. Yesterday, she drew a tiger in a lush jungle. She clearly loves to draw and watching her draw reminds me how much I too love to draw. You and any children in your life can watch previous Draw Together sessions here. She is playful and funny. Kids all over the world who are drawing with her take a photo of their work, tag it #DrawTogether, and share it on Instagram.

I’ve written a lot about danah boyd’s work. She wrote the excellent book about teens and tech, It’s Complicated. Here’s her latest post: Teens Are Addicted to Socializing, Not Screens—Screenagers in the time of coronavirus. Thanks to Paul for making sure I saw this.
Oh, and write me. I’d love to hear from you. Reach out and bridge the social distance. 😀
Be well.
