Here is a long-form piece I recommend for a deeper (and broader) look at the phenomenon of Fortnite. I haven’t yet read it in entirety so we’ll be reading it together, but I read enough to see that writer Brian Feldman offers a perspective I haven’t seen anywhere else. Thanks to my colleague Jonathan Richter for pointing this out. Jonathan teaches at Salish Kootenai College in Montana and directs the Immersive Learning Research Network.
